Sarah Eleanor Davis

Sarah Eleanor Davis, B.A., AccFM, is the Founder of Eastern Ontario Family Mediation & Coordination and an Accredited Family Mediator (OAFM) specializing in diverse family structures. With over 20 years of executive leadership in the non-profit sector—including her tenure as Executive Director at Cornerstone Housing for Women and her leadership at the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa—Sarah brings a profound understanding of the complex challenges modern families face.

A dynamic and strategic thinker, Sarah strives to challenge the traditional, adversarial approach to divorce and separation. She believes that because every family is unique, their separation and co-parenting journeys must be uniquely tailored as well. Her practice is deeply rooted in lived experience, making her a humble, inclusive, and highly empathetic mediator.

As the proud single mother of identical twin girls, she inherently understands the nuances and daily realities of parenting and family restructuring.

Sarah’s exemplary career is defined by her relentless advocacy for vulnerable populations. She has a comprehensive, trauma-informed understanding of how intersectional issues—such as systemic racism, ageism, classism, mental health struggles, addiction, and violence against women—impact marginalized communities.

Sarah partnered with the Algonquins of Barriere Lake to support crucial program development, including a Parent Resource Hub, FASD programming, and management coaching.

Beyond her professional practice, Sarah is deeply committed to grassroots community building. She actively supports children and families in local public schools and serves on the Township of Russell’s Community Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Whether fostering consensus in the boardroom or mediating complex family transitions, Sarah is dedicated to guiding families toward sustainable, peaceful resolutions.
